Graduated from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University in 2001. Received her PhD degree in Linguistics from the Ilia State University in 2013. The dissertation topic concerns the morphosyntactic features of Georgian idioms degree of their frozeness. Has been an Assistant Professor at the Ilia State University since 2009, became an Associate Professor in 2014. Has been a Scientific Secretary of a peer-reviewed academic journal Kadmos since 2010. Her current research interests include natural language processing, particularly, the computational modeling of Modern Georgian Language implemented as a finite-state transducer (xfst, lexc).
