In 2003 graduated from medical faculty in Tbilisi, Georgia (aprobation 2010). 2004-2013 doctoral and postdoctoral research and clinical-practical work at the universities of Heidelberg and Munich (Germany). Worked at European Pancreatic Research Center in Heidelberg (2004-2013). In 2010 obtained doctor title in frame of joint doctoral program of Tbilisi State University and University of Technology Munich (Germany). Title of dissertation: “Characterisation of Perineural invasion in Pancreatic Cancer”. In 2011 obtained clinical qualification in General Surgery. Main research fields: Oncology, Experimental Surgery, Translational and Molecular Medicine. Has up to 20 international Publications. Works at Ilia State University since 2013. From 2015 is the head of Center of Molecular and Translational Medicine.
