Graduated from Tbilisi State Medical University medical faculty in 1981. Defended her thesis at Tbilisi State Medical University on “Factorial structure of the functional fitness of short and long distance cyclists in different periods of a year- length preparation” in 2005. Worked at Georgian State Academy of Physical Education and Sport (1975-2007), Tbilisi State Medical University (2007-2011). Main research interests: functional readiness of sportsmen, age features of sportsmen, sports immunology, sports physiology, sports psychology. Has published 35 scientific papers and has participated in 26 regional and international conferences. Has been working at Ilia State University since 2011.
