Position:Associate Professor
In 1995, Nino Tevdoradze graduated from Tbilisi Ilia Chavchavadze State Institute of Foreign languages with a bachelor’s degree with honors (specialization in Pedagogy of English and French Languages). From 1996 to 1999, she studied as a postgraduate student at the same University (specialization – Germanic Languages (linguistics). In 2003, she defended the doctoral dissertation – Stream of Consciousness as a Linguistic and cultural Phenomenon and its Linguosemiotic Structure” at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University and was conferred the Degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Philology. In 1996 – 2004 she held the position of an English language teacher at the department of English Philology at Ilia Chavchavadze University of Language and Culture (now Ilia State University) and in 2004 rose to the position of an associate professor (docent). In 2006-2008 she worked as English language teacher at the Department of the Language Centre at Ilia State University. Since 2008, she holds the position of an associate professor at department of English Studies at Ilia State University. She has authored about 30 academic publications (including research articles in local and international peer-reviewed journals and 4 university textbooks).
