- Rusudan Mirtskhulava has graduated Tbilisi State University, faculty of Psychology-Philosophy (speciality- Psychologist). In 1993-2008 was professor at Sh. Rustaveli University of Theatre an Cinema and Director of Department of Humanistic Disciplines. In 1980-2012 was working as researcher at D. Uznadze State Institute , was member of scientific council and member of Journal “Matsne” editorial board. In 1999-2003 was working in “Image centre” at telecompany “Rustavi 2”as psychologist. In 2000-2001 was working as Psychologist at television broadcast “Komunikatori” (Chanel 1). Since 2008 R. Mirtskhulava is associated professor at Ilia State University. From 2015 she is a member of Academic Council at SANGU.
- Since 1999 R. Mirtskhulava is Art-Psychologist and holds art-psychotherapy (art-therapy, psychodrama) sessions. She is the author and the trainer of the unique multymodal art-therapy session models. Long since R. Mirtskhulava nurturs for the popularization of the art-therapy and psychodrama methods in Georgia.
- R. Mirtskhulava is the author of 3 monographs and many articles.
- R.Mirtskhulava frequently holds public lectures at Universities, speaks over the televise and radio and participates in conferences.

Scientific interests 1.Psychology of Art, 2.Art-Theraphy and Psychodrama (Theory and Praktice), 3.Psychology of Emotion, 4.Social Psychology, 5.Psychology of Set and Inheritance of D. Uznadze.
Research Interests: 1.Emotional Expression (Body Language) and Praiming, 2.Anxiety and it’s influence on education process, 3.Creativity and Anxiety corelations.
