Professor

Nana Dikhaminjia holds PhD in Applied Mathematicsfrom Tbilisi State University. Till 2012 she worked at GIS and RS Consultation Center Geographic as an GIS Expert and at I. Vekua TSU Institute of Applied Mathematics as a researcher. She has taught at Sokhumi and Tbilisi State Universities. She worked at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of Missouri University of Science and Technology for 4 years as a Visiting Assistant Research Professor. Now she works at Ilia State University as a Professor of Computer and Electrical Enginering, is Head of Computer Engineering Bachelor Programs and teaches at San Diego State University-Georgia. She is a co-founder of Silicon Valley based company “Clear Signal Solutions” and collaborates in scientific research with EMC Laboratory of Missouri University of Science and Technology. She is a member of IEEE, WIE and AMS professional organizations, worked as an Associate Editor of IEEE EMC Transactions and is a reviewer for several scientific journals and conferences. She also is an Authorization and Accreditation Expert of National Center for Education Quality Enhancement and is involved with several IT, GIS and Education projects as a consultant. Nana Dikhaminjia frequently participates as an volunteer in outreach education activities to attract youth, especially girls to the fields of Technology and Engineering.
