In 1997, Lali Qajaia graduated from the Faculty of Applied Mathematics at the Georgian Technical University. In 2000, she completed her master’s studies at the same university, and in 2006 she defended her dissertation, earning a Doctorate in Technical Sciences. From 2006, she worked as a researcher at the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Georgian Technical University. From 2007 to 2010, she was a scientific researcher at the K. Zavriev Institute of Structural Mechanics and Earthquake Engineering, in the Department of Seismic Resistant Construction. From 2010 to 2012, she worked as a senior researcher at the Institute of Buildings, Special Systems and Engineering Support. From 2018 to 2023, she was a senior researcher at the sector of Seismic Hazard and Natural Disaster Risk at M. Nodia Institute of Geophysics. Since 2023, she has been serving as an expert at the same institute. Since 2015, she has been the Director of the K. Zavriev Center for Seismic Resistant Construction, and since 2011, she has been a Professor at the Georgian Agricultural University. She is the author and co-author of up to 24 publications and has participated in more than 20 international conferences and symposia. She is a recipient of the Erasmus+ international exchange program and has attended numerous international seminars and workshops. Since 2023, she has been elected as a member of the Education Committee of the World Council of Civil Engineers (WCCE), representing Georgia.
Continuation of my dissertation topic — problems of the theory of elasticity using Muskhelishvili’s methods and modern software analysis; comparison of numerical results; development of Georgian engineering calculation software for students’ research at higher levels.
