Luiza Bubashvili received her higher education at Akaki Tsereteli State University, Faculty of Environmental Protection and Natural Sciences, where she was awarded a Bachelor’s degree in Bioecology. She later obtained a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering and Safety from the Georgian Technical University. Currently, she is pursuing her PhD studies at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.
Luiza has over 18 years of professional experience in environmental management, impact assessment, and the design and implementation of infrastructure projects. She actively collaborates with international financial institutions and has participated in large-scale national and regional projects. Her work includes the preparation and monitoring of environmental impact assessments, social and safety management strategies, and action plans.
At present, Luiza Bubashvili serves as an Environmental External Monitor for projects financed by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the European Investment Bank (EIB) under the Roads Department of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Georgia. She is also an invited expert in technical assistance programs supported by the ADB and the World Bank.
Luiza Bubashvili is the author and co-author of numerous international publications, including articles in the Journal of Geography of Georgia, Journal of Environmental Biology, Global Journal of Botanical Science, and others. She has participated in many international conferences and published scientific works on topics related to landscape ecology, ecological geography, and sustainable development.

She is an international expert in environmental and social issues, contributing to projects implemented in Armenia and Uzbekistan, where she works on large-scale regional infrastructure and sustainable development initiatives.
She has completed a certified training in ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Systems (OH&S) and holds a Lead Auditor Certificate. In addition, she is a member of the Interagency Commission on Emission Reduction, an active participant in several professional associations, and a reviewer for international scientific journals.
