In 2002 she graduated Zugdidi Branch of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University and obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology. Then in 2004 – she gained a Master’s Degree in Molecular and Cell Biology from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. She defended her PhD thesis in the field of Molecular Biology in the end of 2006. Since 2007 she has worked in I.Beristashvili Center of Experimental Biomedicine (former Institute of Physiology) in Department of Biochemistry, from 2011 – at the position of Researcher in the Institute of Chemical Biology in the Ilia State University. In 2022 she became Assistant Prof of Cell Signaling, Faculty of Natural Sciences and Medicine, Ilia State University. The main field of research – signaling systems of health and cancer cells, protooncoproteins and activity of related effector molecules, posttranslational modifications, and cellular localization. Research investigation is carried out in the Institute of Chemical Biology of Ilia State University.
