Akaki Danelia

Akaki Danelia graduated from Tbilisi State University, Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics.  The academic degree of Bachelor of Mathematics was awarded in 1998. The academic degree of Master of Mathematics was awarded in 2000. He obtained his PhD at the N. Muskhelishvili’s Institute of Computing Mathematics in 2004. His Dissertation title was “Stochastic Variational Inequalities and Optimal Stopping problem”. In 2007-2014 he was Head of Information Bank Management and Statistical Analysis Department of Social Service Agency. Since 2012 is a member of the board of the Georgian Statistical Association.  2014-2023 was a  Visiting Lecturer at  Ilia State University.

Scientific interests / research interests
  • Probability theory and mathematical statistics, applied statistics, sample surveys, social policy.
