Nino d/o Parmen Tsertsvadze – was born on August 29, 1959 in Zestaphoni. In 1983 graduated from the Ilia Chavchavadze Pedagogical Institute of Foreign Languages with qualification of a teacher of French and Italian languages. In 1983-94 worked as a teacher of Italian language at foreign languages two-year training course at Ilia Chavchavadze State Pedagogical Institute of Foreign Languages. In 1994- 2000 years continued working in Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University as a teacher of Italian language at the Department of Languages and Translation. In 1998-1999 years was a researcher- seeker of the Graduate Department, Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. In 2000-2006 pursued working at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University where she took the position of a senior teacher of the Department of Italian Philology. In 2003-2004 worked as a senior teacher at Ilia Chavchavadze State Pedagogical University of Foreign Languages and Culture. In 2004-2006 years was the acting Head of the Department of Italian Language at the same University. In 2005 defended the dissertation and became the Doctor of Romance languages. In 2006 -2015 takes the position of an assistant professor of Romance Studies at Ilia State University. Since 2015 is an Associate Professor of Romance Studies at Ilia State University. Since 2006 is the President of the “Dante Alighieri Society – Tbilisi Committee”. Since 2007 is the Head of the PLIDA International Certification Center. Since 2016 takes the position of the Head of the ADA Attestation Centre. In 2014 she was awarded the honorary title of a permanent member of the “Dante Alighieri Society”. Ms. Nino Tsertsvadze is the author of 12 scientific works.
