In 1999 she obtained Bachelor Degree of Biology in I.Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, then in 2001 – Master Degree of Molecular  and Cell Biology in the same University. PhD dissertation in Biochemistry (neurochemistry) was defensed in 2005. From 2005 she works in I.Beristashvili Center of Experimental Biomedicine (former Institute of Physiology) in Department of Biochemistry, from 2008 – at the position of Assistant Prof of Biochemistry in Ilia State University.   From 2013 – Associate Professor of ISU. The main field of research – signaling systems of  neural tissue, bioenergetics and effect of plant-derived biologically active compounds.  Research investigation is carrying out in the Institute of Chemical Biology of Ilia State University
