In 1976 graduated from Tbilisi state university, Department of Physics, specialization High Energy (Nuclear) Physics. 1976 – 1979 hi continued his studies at the graduate school of Tbilisi State university. Got Ph.D. in 1995.

During various times was working at High Energy Physics institute of Tbilisi State University, Andronikashvili Physics Institute, Teachers national professional development center, National examination center.

1999 – 2003 hi participated in HERA-B experiment (DESY Hamburg, Germany) as a Guest scientist.

2003 – 2010 hi worked as a Research scientist at Heidelberg University for LHCb experiment.

Since 2012 – member of CMS experiment at CERN.

Since 2015 – Main scientific researcher at Institute of Quantum Physics and engineering technologies at Georgian Technical university.

Since 2010 hi is an associate Professor at Ilia State University, department of Natural Sciences and Medicine.
