Research interest include water resources management and sustainable use. Which is gaining a crucial role under climate change process. Especially in the catchment areas which are considered to be ungauged. Therefore, about 90% of Georgia’s rivers are considered as a ungauged basin and those cetchments are representing main part of the country’s hydrological resources. And more interestingly hydrological assessment of such basins requires a complex study of the watershed to determine the parameter affecting runoff modeling. During 2015-2016 years, he was working at the National Environment Agency, at the time he was actively involved in the field of hydraulic modeling. In 2016-2018, he continued his work at the American Investment Fund, where his main activity was to verify and evaluate hydrological data (Due Diligence) for hydropower plants. He has also participated in research/consulting activities since 2019. During this period a number of important projects have been implemented, including the UNDP funded KURA II project, Restoring gallery forest and grasslands in the Iori River Valley managed by SABUKO and various research project implimented by CENN. He is currently working on his PhD research, within which he continues his work at San Diego State University.
