Assistant Professor in Graphics





Irakli Toklikishvili was born in 1989 in Tbilisi. In 2007-11 he studied at Tbilisi State Academy of Arts, Faculty of Fine Arts, in the direction of easel graphics (Bachelor), in 2011-13 at Tbilisi State Academy of Arts, Faculty of Fine Arts, in the direction of easel graphics (Master’s).
After completing his studies, he went to Estonia as part of the Erasmus + program (EVS-European Volunteering Service in those years), where he worked as a volunteer teacher in the public school of Lulemae village of Valga municipality. He conducted drawing lessons at the cultural house and youth center of the same village.
He returned to Georgia in 2014, although he still has a continuous connection with Estonia (theoretical and practical master classes of various techniques of easel graphics, personal and group exhibitions, competitions).
After completing his studies at the Art Academy, he is actively involved in local and international exhibitions and art projects. He mostly works in different mediums of graphics and painting.
Along with his creative life, he is actively engaged in teaching activities, in 2016-2018 he worked at the Tbilisi Art School, at the same time he worked in a private art studio, which he is the co-founder of. Then, from 2018, he continued to work at Ilia State University, at the Faculty of Sciences and Arts, Fine and Applied Arts, direction of graphics, where he is still working.
