Graduated from Tbilisi, Shota Rustaveli State Theater Institute with specialization in Film Studies. For 20 years was teaching and researching the tendencies and movements existing in Georgian and World Cinema in the same institution. Within this period from 2007 till 2010 was chairing the Council of Representatives. In 2006 defended her thesis “Issue of a hero in Georgian Cinema of the post-soviet period” and got her Ph.D. Participated in different international conferences and meetings dedicated to students’ movies in Bolshevo Russia, Lvov Ukraine, Riga and Jūrmala, Latvia, Washington D.C and Boston USA, Amsterdam, Netherlands. From 2010 till now teaches and researches at Ilia’s State University heading the Films Studies’ program.
