Berika Shukakidze graduated from Tbilisi State University with Master’s degree in Economics in 1995. In 2002 he acquired Master’s degree in Education Administration from University of Nebraska at Omaha. He completed his doctoral study at Ilia State University in 2013. The dissertation topic: Comparative Study: Impact of Family, School, and Students Factors on Students Achievements in Reading in Developed (Estonia) and Developing (Azerbaijan) Countries. Canadian Center of Science and Education. He has more than 10 academic work completed. From 2006 to 2010 he worked as the head of programs and later on analytical departments at the Ministry of Education and Science.

Scientific interests / research interests

  • Secondary and higher education administration and supervision, school safety, comparative  education, teachers professional development, university quality assurance, and school vouchers. Football management, cost effectiveness analyses of football.
