Skills and experience: Mrs. Paatashvili, as an international consultant, supports different projects in healthcare policy and public health worldwide. Since 2014, she represents the Sabin Vaccine Institute in the European Region and contributes to advocacy and sustainability of immunization programs. Dr. Paatashvili has the vast experience of working in the government sector and participating in the implementation of health care reforms of Georgia. Between 2000-2012, she worked in the Georgia Ministry of Labour, Health and Social Affairs in the areas of health care policy, financing, and state program management. She has a leadership experience of running the Health Care Regulation Division and the Division of State procurements at the ministry as well as managing the projects on good governance and public engagement at non-governmental organizations.

Education: Dr. Paatashvili got her PhD degree in Public Health from the Tbilisi State University ინ 2019. During 2012-2013, she graduated her Executive Master of Public Administration with distinctions from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University, in the USA. She received her diploma of MD at the Tbilisi State Medical University In 1999.

Scientific interests / research interests

Health care policy and financing; strategic thinking in health care; quality of health care services and regulation; public health and its regulation; communication and advocacy in health care.
