Giorgi Machavariani was born in Tbilisi in 1986.
In 2003, he successfully completed the 115th public school and in the same year he entered Tbilisi State University at the Faculty of Economics and Business.
In 2007, Giorgi Machavariani successfully graduated from Tbilisi State University with a degree in international business management.
In 2007-2009, Giorgi studied at the International School of Economics (ISET) for a 2-year master’s course and received a master’s degree in economics.
In 2010-2012, Giorgi studied at the Central European University (CEU) for a 2-year master’s course and received a master’s degree in economic policy.
In 2012-2013, Giorgi Machavariani works as an economic researcher at the Research Center of the International School of Economics (ISET-PI).
In 2013-2022, Giorgi works as a climate economist at the Ministry of Environment Protection and Agriculture of Georgia. During this period, Giorgi became a UN expert in the field of reviewing documents related to climate change (global warming).
From 2023 to the present, Giorgi works as a macroeconomist in the Department of Macroeconomic Analysis and Fiscal Policy Planning at the Ministry of Finance.
