In 2011, after graduating from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Faculty of Humanities, Bachelor level, Tamar Khubulava continued studying in Germany, University of Jena and Heidelberg, Master in Philosophy. In 2016-2021 she worked on her doctoral thesis, in the field of late ancient philosophy, at the University of Fribourg in Germany and in Fribourg in Switzerland. In 2021 she defended her thesis entitled: “Towards One within us in Proclus and Ionae Petritsi”. Since 2022 she has been working as an assistant professor at Ilia State University.
