Born in Tbilisi on November 1, 1980. Graduated #10 secondary school in 1998. Enrolled the Geography-Geology Faculty of Tbilisi State University in 1999, which he graduated in 2003.

2004-2007 he worked as a geography teacher under the project “The Future Begins Today” of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia.

2007-2009 he continued his studies at Tbilisi State University, Faculty of Exact and Natural Sciences, specializing in Physical Geography and Sustainable Development of the Environment, which he graduated with honors.

2007-2009 along with his studies, he worked as a geography teacher under the project “Teach for Georgia” of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia.

2009-2012 he received a Volkswagen scholarship, during which he completed a soil science course in Germany (Giessen). During his studies, he conducted a study on contamination of soils with heavy metals (Cd, Zn, Cu) on the example of Mashavara valley (Bolnisi, Georgia).

2012 he started working at the Institute of Earth Sciences, as an assistant researcher. In 2013 he became an associate researcher of the same Institute, and in 2014 – researcher.

2015-2017 he worked at the Teachers Professional Development Center, Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia at the position of geography subject expert.

Since 2017 he has been leading the “Educational-Research Laboratory of Complex Environmental Studies” of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Medicine, Ilia State University.

2020 he continued his PhD study at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Medicine of Ilia State University in the field of geography.

2019-2022 he participated in the monitoring and mitigation works of the rock-cut cities (Vardzia, Vani Kvebeli, Uplistsikhe, Sabereebi).

2022 he completed a labor safety course, and holds Georgian and international labor safety certificates.

2023 he started working as an assistant professor at the Faculty of Business, Technology and Education, Ilia State University

2007-2012 he has completed trainings on Civic Education, Safe Teaching and Learning by Doing.

Levan Navrozashvili actively collaborates (joint field/laboratory research) with the universities of Cologne, Leipzig (Germany), Tallinn (Estonia), Florence, Bologna (Italy) and San Diego (USA).
