Nina graduated from the European Joint Master Programme offered by the Universities of Aveiro (Portugal), University of Oslo (Norway) and The University of Tampere (Finland). Her master’ thesis investigated the ESG (European Standards and Guidelines) and Students’ Involvement in European Quality Assurance of Higher Education. Subsequently, Nina acquired her doctoral degree (PhD) from Glasgow, UK. Her PhD research project examined the role of networks in innovation and change. Nina has previously worked in public/private universities (teaching, student counselling services, Human Resource Management Department/Career Development Centre) and with British Petroleum (Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan Gas/Oil Pipeline Projects) for several years.
