In 2008, Konstantine Ladaria graduated from Ilia State University with a bachelor’s degree in sociology. In 2010, he obtained the Master’s degree in “Cultural Studies” at the same university. And in 2023, he defended his dissertation “Post-Soviet Georgian Stalinist Literature: Constructing Trauma” and earned the title of Doctor of Sociology.
During his academic career, Konstantine Ladaria had the opportunity to study and conduct research in cooperation with such educational organizations and foundations as “Academic Swiss Caucasus Network” (ASCN), “Center for Literary and Cultural Studies (ZFL, Berlin), “Norwegian Institute of International Affairs” (NUPI, Oslo) and “Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation” (Tbilisi). He is a member and researcher of “Caucasus Memory Research Center”.
Konstantine has authored and co-authored one monograph and four articles on topics such as religious nationalism in Georgia, the issue of refugees from Abkhazia and South Ossetia, the emigration discourse in post-Soviet Georgia, and the Russian hybrid war against Georgia.
