Nino Skhirtladze defended her PhD dissertation in 2015 entitled “Personal Identity Formation in the Georgian Context – Qualitative and Quantitative Approaches”. During her PhD studies and several research projects she worked at the KU Leuven and the University of Miami. Between 2013 – 2017 she worked as an invited lecturer and researcher at Ilia State University and since 2017 she is an assistant professor of psychology at Ilia State University.
