Position:Associate Professor
Nino Tsintsadze, PhD, Associate Professor is a Director of the Child Development Institute under the auspices of Ilia State University and a head of Master’s program in Communication, Speech and Language Therapy.
In 2006 she founded First Early Intervention Program in Georgia. During last 10 years she is an initiator and director of several projects related to Early Intervention and Early Inclusive Education.
Since 2014 she is involved in international projects related to the development and Communication, Speech and Language Therapy profession in Georgia.
Co-author, editor or project director of the following publications: Early Inclusive education, comprehensive manual in 3 volumes (2018); “Communication, Language and Speech- Basic Concepts for Preschool Professionals (2015); “Textbook for preschool professionals” (2015); “Teaching Reading to Children with Down Syndrome – Guide for Parents and Professionals” (2013 Georgian translation and publication); “Gross Motor Skills in Children with Down Syndrome – Guide for Parents and Professionals” (2013 Georgian translation and publication); “Daily Based program for Kindergartens” (2012); “Ten Special Lessons – resource guide for inclusive education” (2011), “Kindergarten Management Strategy” (2011); “Down Syndrome- towards Brighter Future, Parents Guide, Siegfrid Pueshel” (2007 Georgian translation and publication).
In 2007-2011 was an editor of a magazine « Solidaroba ».
In 2004 gained degree “Candidate of Science in classical philology” PhD.
