Nino Tabatadze graduated with honours with her Bachelor’s degree from the Georgian Technical University (GTU), Faculty of Civil Engineering, Department of Computer-aided Design in Civil Engineering in 2007 and with Master’s degree (with honors) in Information Technologies for Construction in 2009.

In 2017, she earned her PhD in Construction Engineering with honours from GTU, Faculty of Civil Engineering, Department of Engineering Mechanics and Technical Expertise (Dissertation topic: “Investigation of several Georgian historical and cultural monuments by combining experimental and numerical methods”). During her studies at the Georgian Technical University, she participated in several scientific conferences held in Georgia and in Hungary.

In 2008-2017, she worked as a structural engineer at “GIPN“ Ltd (Tbilisi, Georgia). Her working experience includes: structural analysis and design of civil and industrial buildings; development of a reconstruction projects for the damaged and unsafe buildings (incl. historic buildings); and structural analysis and design of high-rise buildings.

In 2020, she was awarded a Master’s degree in Structural Engineering from Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME), Faculty of Civil Engineering, Department of Structural Engineering (Master’s thesis topic: “Condition survey and seismic fragility assessment of historic building”).

In 2021 she was a visiting researcher at Department of Civil, Chemical, Environmental, and Materials Engineering, University of Bologna (Research supervisor: Giovanni Castellazzi, Ph.D., Research topic: “Effective modelling of complex masonry buildings, such as cultural heritage buildings under the seismic loading and study of remodelling techniques”).

Since 2020 she works as a Structural engineer at  “ARC-S Innovation & Technology” Ltd (Budapest, Hungary); Her professional activities include: structural analysis and design of reinforced concrete, composite, and steel structures and structural analysis and detailed design of timber structures.

In 2022, she became an associate professor in Civil Engineering at Ilia State University.
