Maia Mrevlishvili was born on March 19th, 1983. In 2000 she finished the Republican Secondary Boarding School of Physics and Mathematics (Komarovi School). Graduated from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics with a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics in 2004, and with a master’s degree from the same university at the Faculty of Exact and Natural Sciences in 2006. She received her Ph.D. degree in Mathematics from Georgian Technical University in 2012.

She participated in many international conferences and congresses (ISAAC 2019, etc.), international trainings in Applied Mathematics (TU Berlin and WIAS, Germany).

In 2019-2021 she was a key researcher of the fundamental research state grants project funded by the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia.

From 2013 to 2022 Maia was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics of the Faculty of Informatics and Control Systems at Georgian Technical University. In 2022 Maia joined Ilia State University, School of Business, Technology and Education as an Associate Professor of Computer Sciences.
