In 1988 Vasil Kukhianidze graduated from Iv. Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, specialization “astronomy and astrophysics”, and in 2006 he defended PhD thesis on “Structure and dynamics of chromospheric spicules”. From 1988 he has worked in Abastumani Astrophysical Observatory on different position and has published 29 scientific papers. From 2010 he is the Associate Professor in Ilia State University. He had collaborated and visited by scientific mission in following universities and scientific institutions:
