Ketevan Lakirbaia is Associate Professor at Ilia State University (ISU) and Director of Centre of Institutional Effectiveness. She is serving the university since 2016. She brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in management and finance to ISU. In 2016-2024 she was a Chancellor of Ilia State University. Previously, she served in several leadership positions in company management and projects, and a large part of her career is related to international companies such as PwC, KPMG, Deloitte, and McDonald’s, including serving at different international locations for posts and job shadowing. Ketevan worked and managed Due Diligence, Financial Audit and Company Valuation projects on local and international markets. As former CFO in public and private organizations, she has sound experience in change management and restructuring.

Ketevan is trained as a business administrator, chief executive and senior finance officer, and financial auditor. She holds a Master’s Degree in European Business Administration and Business Law from Lund University, Sweden and a BBA Degree in Finance and Accounting from Caucasus School of Business, Tbilisi, Georgia. As an exchange fellow, she participated in an academic program at the J. Mack Robinson College of Business of Georgia State University in Atlanta, USA and completed professional qualification courses with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, UK. Throughout her career, Ketevan has delivered change and resource management consulting, training, and education activities in academic institutions and private companies.
