Maka Kordzadze graduated with honors from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Faculty of Physics, Speciality Biophysics. Since 2006 she is workins in the field of education management and education quality assurance. In 2015, Maka Kordzadze was aworded PhD in Educational Sciences at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, the dissertation topic: “Basic Principles of Developing an Academic Staff Load Scheme.” Maka Kordzadze’s experience in the field of education management and quality assurance includes working on leading positions at LEPL -National Center for Education Quality Enhancemet, at LEPL – Center for Effective Governance System and Territorial Errangement Reform, as well as cooperation with non-governmental organizations, coordination of numerous local and international projects. Under her guidance number of regulatory and guidance documents on education quality issues are prepared. Maka Kordzadze is the founder and executive director of the NGO NNLE – Collegium of Independent Educational Consultants.

Scientific interests / research interests

Maka Kordzadze’s research interests are related to education management and quality assurance at the higher and general education levels, as well as to issues of adult learning and continuing education.
